Future Goals For Philip Wheeler & PW Therapy

Philip’s passion has always been to help as many people as possible, and this is a desire which is unlikely to change in the future. However, Philip knows he is only one person, and although there are options such as group therapy and self-help books or courses, he knows the only way to truly make a difference is by passing on his knowledge to existing or future therapists.

Philip currently teaches part-time in a couple of locations around the country, as well as hosting medical professionals in his clinic, but he aims to move into a more full-time position helping to shape the future of true medicine in the UK.

‘We have amazing medical professionals and therapists in the UK, and around the world, however many patients require a minimum of three different disciplines to get the help they require. I want to help create therapists who can use a combination of approaches well and who can think outside the box and look at the bigger picture. In today’s hectic fast-moving and highly stressful society, it’s no longer enough to just go and get a massage or get a spinal or joint manipulation. Patients require nutritional and supplemental advice, they require a sound ear for listening, and most require in-depth blood work, in conjunction with manipulations, soft tissue release, rehabilitation exercises, regenerative medicine, and so much more. Due to my hobbies, I can sometimes find myself injured which requires me to go and see an Osteopath, a Chiropractor, an Acupuncturist, and then a Massage Therapist, and a few months later I’m able to train again when it should have only taken a few treatments. I also see many patients weekly who have been given false information surrounding their conditions which takes away any hope they had of recovery. I simply want to help as many people as possible live a happy and healthy life.’ – Philip Wheeler
